Return Authorization

To begin a return, please submit a return request through your online account within 30 days of delivery confirmation. We will generate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which is required for all returns.

Note: Returns submitted more than 30 days after delivery may be subject to restocking fees or ineligibility per section below.

Submitting Returns In-Person

If you did not purchase items online, but rather at an innisfree retail store location, returns can be processed in-person at the original store. You will need to provide the payment receipt showing store location and date of purchase. All other return conditions (time limits, fees etc) still apply.

Return Extensions & Exceptions

We can make exceptions to the 30 day limit at our sole discretion, particularly for issues such as:

Refund Methods & Timeline

Once returns arrive at our fulfillment facility, refunds are processed within 2-3 business days. Refund method depends on original payment type:

Credit Card Purchases: Refund will be credited back to the original card used at time of purchase.

PayPal Purchases: Refund will go back to PayPal account.

Gift Card or innisfree Credit: Refund will be in the form of gift card or account credit with innisfree.

Most refunds process within 3-5 regular business days after the return is received by our facility. However, banks and credit card companies can take additional time for the refund to show in customer accounts. International credit card refunds may take up to 90 days depending on policies of issuing bank.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for pre-paying any shipping charges to return items back to innisfree headquarters:

We recommend sending via UPS or FedEx with tracking for all returns. Refund eligibility requires proof of return transit in case package gets lost en route. Retain shipping confirmation receipt showing delivery confirmation to our returns facility.

International Returns:

For international return shipping, customers must select a carrier that delivers to U.S. domestic addresses. innisfree is not responsible for any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, etc. to send items back to the United States. Tracking with delivery confirmation is highly recommended.

Original Shipping Charges:

The original outbound shipping fees paid to innisfree on your initial order are non-refundable regardless if some/all items are returned.

Return Eligibility

innisfree set guidelines regarding which items can be returned based on certain conditions outlined next:

A. New Unused Items

Brand new, unused items that are returned in original packaging within 30 days of delivery can be refunded in full minus outbound shipping costs (see section above).

Exceptions: Gift cards, clearance merchandise, and any other items marked “final sale” on the product page are NOT eligible for return regardless of use. Please choose carefully when purchasing these items because innisfree cannot accept returns under any circumstances.

B. Opened Items

If the return request is within 30 days and items have been opened/used, the following policies apply:

Refund Amount: Items that meet above criteria for opened/used products are eligible for 90% refund minus original shipping. The 10% restocking fee accounts for used product not re-saleable as brand new.

C. Defective or Incorrect Items

If a product arrives defective, damaged, inaccurately advertised, past expiration date, or otherwise unusable, you may return it for a FULL refund including any original shipping paid. Please provide detailed notes regarding the issue during return request.

For sizing issues, innisfree will provide free shipping on first exchange (see Exchanges below). If size still does not fit after first swap, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

D. Late Returns

For returns initiated MORE than 30 days after delivery (without an approved extension per policy above), the following restocking fees apply:

If you prefer to swap an item for a new size, color, or completely different product, exchanges are offered as courtesy for most merchandise categories. Please initiate the exchange through our online return portal just like a regular return.

Exchange Shipping:

Refunds: Exchange items are not eligible for a refund after replacement ships out. Exceptions for damaged/defective replacements.

Exchange Expiration: Initial return must be started within 30 days of original delivery. Any exchanges must be completed within 60 days of original order date.

Receipt of Returns

All return items must include original receipt showing details of sale transaction such as purchase date, store location, payment method and total amount. RMA authorization paperwork with valid barcode must also be included on the outside of the shipping box.

Upon receiving your return at our main distribution center, an automated email confirmation will be sent to the address connected with your online account. Refund timeline begins once this email is delivered, assuming items adhere to return policy and eligibility criteria.

Missing, Invalid, or Expired RMA: If a return delivery arrives without proper paperwork included, or invalid RMA, the package may be deemed ineligible for refund. We will attempt to contact customers to remediate errors, but cannot delay refund processing timeline.
